Smiles.. that Inspired.......
I was lost in my thoughts through the 30 min journey.. Somewhere in between 3 kids and a couple of ladies(they looked like their moms.. Im not too sure) got in.... There was a boy of about 9-10 yrs, a girl of about 7-8 yrs and another girl of about 5-6 yrs. I observed that all the 3 kids had some kind of ear plugs.. Slowly, I realised that these 3 kids were deaf and dumb.. they were actually returning home from school on a saturday afternoon.... I was surprised by the way they were communicating with each other.. I could see the expressions on their faces and body language and I was mesmerized by the fact that each child was so involved in responding and being a part of the whole communication process.. the conversation among them.. Although I could not understand what exactly they were saying... I could just make out that they were understanding each other and there was some kind of genuineness and gullibility in them.... They were full of life and brimming with energy !!! ....
Those 3 kids made me think....
They did have a disability... but they had overcome it in a certain way... of course, most importantly the parents of these kids are to be admired at... Having a child with special needs is definitely a very challenging aspect of parenting.. And it probably involves immense ultimum of STRENGTH to carry on with life and give such children a meaningful existence, nurturing them to evolve as competent individuals and definitely make the world a better place to live in... Kudos to them... They are truly heroic !!
A song from a tamil movie- Mozhi comes to my mind... (This is real good movie.. worth watching!!!... Jyothika has done a brilliant job)
"Kaatrin Mozhi... Oli yaa Isai yaa?".... "Poovin Mozhi.... Niramaa manamaa...?".... "Kadalin Mozhi.... Alai yaa... Norai yaa?"........
"The language of wind? Is it sound or is it music?... The language of a flower?.. Is it the color of the flower or its smell?... The language of the sea?.. Is it the waves or a foam of water?
Just like the fact that every coin has two faces...
Sometimes... well .. rather most of the times... the face of the double sided coin in various aspects of life are not in our control.. maybe beyond the reach of our power of decisiveness... But definitely.. people like these special kids , their parents and teachers have won over that not so promising side of the coin of their lives.. And they definitely would continue to do so.
Those 3 lovely kids inspired me on that Saturday afternoon.... They inspired me to bring out my best everyday at every moment.. The smile on their faces inspired me to smile..... :-)

THE REALITY OF HOPE
Reality was what made Disha hopeful... Hopeful of Life... But little did Disha know about the adversities the very same hope would bring in.... The same reality tore certain hopes of hers apart.. she did face situations that she never dreamt of.. she never knew such things could happen which kind of victimized her.. all for no fault of hers.. termed Destiny.. or KARMA.. But isn't this essentially LIFE?.. Situations unknown thrown up in front of you.... Prompting to you to react... And the reaction is all what really makes the difference!!!.. Positive or Negative!
Disha too reacted... wasn't she human after all?... it was harsh on her.. she did feel the whole world crash on her... She was helpless.. She felt she had hit rock bottom in a certain way.. But somehow she got herself going... Again,it was only HOPE that made her wipe the tears which had dampened her face.. she rebuilt the blocks of her dreams..aspirations..coping with life.... She realized a few things...
How much a smile could make an impact!!
How much a positive frame of mind could make a difference...
Being selfless helps self... [ Less expectations from others has a lesser intensity of negative thoughts.. ]
Thinking from a higher perspective and following what you want to do... [Basically connect with self.. ]
There maybe an air of negativeness surrounding you.. the only way to nullify or neutralize this negative aura around you is by radiating positive energy from within yourself..... The GOOD shall always prevail.. and EVIL shall perish!.. Its a continuous process...
Disha felt maybe she was THE CHOSEN ONE in this continous process of cosmic eternity... Well.. this was the role Disha had to play!!!.... And many more to come in the following years... The baseline for all her thoughts, actions, emotions and her existence itself just had to be POSITIVE THINKING and the power of being RESTORATIVE!
The very same entity called REALITY which destroyed Disha's hopes.... now created new hopes for her... as Disha learnt to radiate the positiveness from within..
Disha had to tread towards a new Disha- Direction......
Yes, Disha had set a new DISHA for herself.................. :-)
